Tucked between the expressway and the Grand River is the neighbourhood of Chicopee.

The area is defined by the popular Chicopee Ski Hill that dominates the center of this familiar neighbourhood. The popular slopes and hills provide year round activity: snow slopes and tubing in the winter that change to mountain biking trails and zip lining in the summer, giving you all the recreational activity you could ask for in your neighbourhood. Residents of this area can enjoy the winding trails along the Grand River on the eastern border of this neighbourhood, and find several drop in sites along the Grand River for canoes and kayaks. The homes that make up this neighbourhood were built between the 70’s and 80’s and allow access to numerous schools, parks, public transit and shopping areas including Stanley Park Mall and Fairview Park Mall.
