Formally known as ‘The Village of Bridgeport’, the area first found its life in the early twentieth century. The picturesque Grand River winds through this neighbourhood. Bridgeport offers a short distance to nature and seclusion from the Twin Cities, making the area one of a kind! An arched white bridge is a defining landmark in this community. A neighbourhood with the active person in mind, you will find a large amount of natural areas and parks including: Kiwanis Park, Bridgeport sports field and the Carlsbrook Drive natural area.
